Myelin NeuroTech is hosting Karl Friston for a speaker event this October 25th at 1PM. Karl Friston pioneered neuroimaging with statistical parametric mapping (SPM) and developed a mathematical framework for understanding intelligence called active inference. In 2016, Semantic Scholar ranked him as the most influential neuroscientist in the world. His work has implications on how we think about AI.
